
Red Hall Partnership was set up in 2001 and is a Registered Charity. Red Hall Partnership aims to improve the quality of life for people who live on and around Red Hall estate and to build the capacity of residents.
Since the start, the Partnership has been very successful in attracting external funding to the area to deliver projects. We have lots of great projects which include:
- Play workers Project - activities on evenings and weekends during term time for 5 to 13 year olds and play schemes during school holidays. View Play Work Update for further information - pdf document or Ring Sarah Small on 07876 682754.
- Red Hall Reveller Community Newsletter. Articles to philip.maven@ntlworld.com or ring Phil on 07984 429369.
- Tool Library - a good selection of DIY and gardening tools to hire out. 50p for manual tools, £1 for electronic tools and £2 for the very popular carpet cleaner. Open Mondays 10.30 am -12.30 pm and Fridays, 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm at the new community centre from Friday 3 November. Ring the Housing Office on 250008 and ask for Don.
- Toy Library & Story Sack sessions at the Red Hall Community Centre for parents/carers and pre-school children. Story Sacks on Mondays 1pm to 3pm and Toy Library Tuesdays 9.30am to 11.30am. Ring Sarah Peyton on 244506 for details.
- Annual Fun Day, August Bank Holiday. Very successful and fun day for all the family. Contact Sarah Peyton on 244506 for details.
- Capacity Building. Would you like to help out in the Red Hall community? We have lots of training opportunities and support in place for new and existing volunteers. You can do anything from delivering newsletters to helping out with the play schemes. We hope this gives you a feel for the work we have done on Red Hall. We have also developed an action plan - pdf document that lists the projects we will be working on over the next few years.
