Northgate Community Partnership have been up and running for just over a year and are a fully constituted body. The Partnership is made up of mainly local residents from the area, has 13 management committee members (mostly residents) and approximately 35 other members. Other groups and organisations that are involved in the Partnership include: Local Ward Councillors, representatives from Sure Start, Corporation Road Primary School, Police, The Friends of North Lodge Park, Bangladeshi Welfare Association and Westbrook Villa's Residents Association.
The Northgate Community Partnership have developed an Action Plan - pdf document that sets out what projects will be delivered over the next 5 years. The actions have been developed by looking at the issues coming out of the recent Northgate Community Appraisal and the Darlington Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy.
