The Greener Darlington theme group of the Darlington Partnership has a major role to play in delivering against the priorities of the Sustainable Community Strategy, One Darlington: Perfectly Placed 2008 – 2021.
Together with our partners and with the other delivery groups of the Darlington Partnership we will work together to ensure that Darlington Borough is a sustainable Borough. In working towards this aim we have prioritised five strands of work that we will concentrate on in the short to medium term. These are as follows:
1. A low carbon borough tackling climate change
2. A sustainable transport network
3. Greener, cleaner Darlington
4. Well-designed Darlington
5. Engagement and partnerships for change
