| Darlington Countryside and Rights of Way team is responsible for managing, maintaining and promoting the boroughs increasing number of wildlife sites and local nature reserves as well as the 300 kilometres of public rights of way. It is also responsible for the Council’s contribution to maintaining and increasing the localities level of biodiversity, encouraging access and understanding of the countryside through a countryside events programme and ensuring effective service delivery through working with partner organisations and volunteers. | |
